The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
