Any leftover cordial you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or for additional servings of this cocktail.

Serves 10 guests
To make the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Method
Making the Cordial: Put every items inside a saucepan, bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the heat and let it to reach room temperature completely. Decant into an clean bottle, cap it and refrigerate it chilled, it can be stored for up to one month.
To make Premix: Mix the specified liquid ingredients into a sizeable container, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then strain best through muslin, to ensure it's fully clarified.
For serving: Pour 85ml of the batch mix into a mixing glass filled with ice, and stir carefully for one minute until cold. Filter to a chilled martini glass or similar, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil over the top.
